Two modes for greater pressure ulcer prevention and treatment

The Duo 2 mattress replacement system helps to prevent and treat pressure ulcers from stage I to IV in low- to very-high-risk adult patients. Choose between two therapy modes at the touch of a button to meet your patient’s needs: Continuous Low Pressure mode achieves the lowest tissue interface pressures in its category and provides maximal distribution of patient weight, while Alternating Low Pressure mode has a 1-in-4 alternating cycle in the body zone, supporting 75% of the patient at all times to reduce the high peak pressures associated with conventional alternating mattresses. The innovative Real-Heel^™ zone features eight micro-cushions that adjust independently to your patient’s body and provide contoured support around the vulnerable heel area. The internal I-mmersion^™ sensor controls internal cell pressures in real time to achieve very low tissue interface pressure across all body zones and in both therapy modes.
